Self Introduction

Hi, my name is Kana Narasaki.
I'm one of the three"Kana"s participating AGU in America Program.
Fortunately, we all have different lastnames and I am Kana.N !!
12 hours flight made me think that this place is really far from the place where I live.
I'm so excited to be here, and I'm hoping to experience things that are unavailable in Japan!!!!!

Yes, indeed, Kana, you are very far from home now--on the opposite side of the globe, in fact! Isn't it a weird and wonderful feeling? I am glad you are here and I hope you will have lots of new experience to blog about! (Congratulations on creating your first English blog!)

Hello, Kana!
This is Hiromi, and I was there last year as a participant! It's nice to meet you. ^^

I was relieved to hear that three of Kana-chan have different last names because it keeps everyone from being confused, right?

I hope you'll have a lot of fun!

Hi Kana N.,
I also was surprised to see three Kanas in the list but had never seen the name before. Coincidence?

True, Japan is rather far from the States and that is why it is so wonderful to travel and visit different places. I am sure your stay will be a unique and wonderful one. Enjoy it to the fullest.

Nice meeting you.

Hi, Kana.

Welcome to the U.S. and congratulations on your blog!

Wow! Three Kanas in the same class! Amazing!

I've been an English teacher for a long, long time and I've had many, many Japanese students, but I never had three Kanas--or any Kanas, as a matter of fact. I have, however, had more than one Keiko, more than one Michiko, more than one Kimiko and probably more than one of other names. One time, I had a lot of Masas in the same class, but although the nicknames were the same, the complete names were different--Masayori, Masahiro, Masayuki, and so on.

I hope you have a wonderful time while you're here, and I also hope you have many pleasant and interesting experiences!

Best wishes--

Dennis in Phoenix

Hi, Kana. Warm (or Hot) Welcome to the U.S.!! I am in San Jose, CA where the weather is always nice. Still, I wish I could join you in the Atlantic Region, as DC is so full of excitement. (I once lived in Alexandria, VA for a short period of time.) Anyway, please enjoy your stay!!
